Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites

These Chocolate Peanut Butter Bites are ridiculously tasty for something made with only three ingredients.

The apple purée and powdered peanut butter create a soft, creamy centre, while the chocolate coating gives you that satisfying snap with every bite.

They’re simple, macro-friendly and dangerously easy to eat, so be careful not to finish all 12 in one go!

Ingredients

  • 130g unsweetened apple purée or applesauce
  • 100g PB2 powdered peanut butter
  • 70g Noshu Sugar Free Dark Choc

Makes 12 bites.

Method

  1. Add the apple purée and powdered peanut butter to a bowl. Mix until a thick, rollable dough forms.
  2. Divide the mixture evenly into 12 portions and roll each portion into a ball.
  3. Place the balls on a lined plate or tray and freeze for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each interval, until smooth.
  5. Dip or roll each chilled bite in the melted chocolate, then return it to the lined plate or tray.
  6. Refrigerate until the chocolate has completely set.

These bites are vegetarian-friendly. For a vegan version, swap the chocolate for vegan chocolate and use Nuttelex for the melt. Refrigerate for an additional 10 minutes to help the coating set.
